Linda Ruth Stapleton

Linda Ruth Stapleton, 70, of Macon, died Thursday, September 24, 2020.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend Gene Saunders officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. The family requires the use of masks and social distancing.

Mrs. Stapleton loved animals, gardening, going to the beach and shopping with her granddaughters.  She found great joy in raising her family and was an amazing cook.

Mrs. Stapleton is survived by her husband, Conrad E. Stapleton of Macon; children, Clinton Hamm (Hollie) of Destin, Florida, Wesley Hamm (Lesley) of Evans, Georgia, Colin Stapleton (Amy) of Juliette, Georgia, Eric Stapleton (Dianna) of Superior, Colorado, and Tracy Ray (Kevin) of Lincolnton, Georgia; grandchildren, Garrett Hamm, Chloe Hamm, Claire Hamm, Cailyn Stapleton, Zoe Stapleton, Annabelle Stapleton, Jacob Stapleton, Dalton Ray, and McKenzie Ray; and sisters, Candy Dill (Bob) of New Wavery, Texas, Susie Beasley (Richard) of Bluffton, South Carolina, and Nancy McCaston (Captain Ted) of Beaufort, South Carolina.
