Linda Gail Sheffield

Linda Gail Sheffield, 59, died Sunday, April 19, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Nick Ferry officiating. Private burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the Cupola from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday. Ms. Sheffield was Preceptor Coordinator of Community Medicine for the Mercer University School of Medicine and was the Mercer Spirit Award recipient in 2014. She was an avid reader, huge Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and NASCAR fan, and loved researching genealogy. Ms. Sheffield is survived by her daughter, Brooke Buie of Decatur; mother, Tommie S.
