Linda Joyce Ryles O'Neal

Linda Joyce Ryles O’Neal entered the gates of her eternal on April 22, 2026. A memorial service will be held at Real Life Church, on Tuesday April 28, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM. The family will host a time for visitation on Monday, April 27, 2026, between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, in the same location. In lieu of flowers, a meal train is being organized for her family. Linda was born on March 8, 1947, in Macon, Georgia. She was a beloved wife, mother, “Mama”, sister, aunt, and friend to all of those who knew her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into caring for those she loved.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Dorothy Ryles; sister BJ Roquemore; and brother Johnny Ryles. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her husband of 61 years, Clyde “Buddy” O’Neal and their children, Teresa O’Neal Turk (Darrell) and Pamela O’Neal Dunn (Darrell). Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Patricia Arwood (Tommy); sisters-in-law, Louise Brooks and Dale Jiles (Emory); grandchildren, Ashley Sheppard (Scott); Amanda Turk; Justin Turk (McKenzie); Josh Turk (Stacey); Samantha NeSmith; Alexis Fowler (Jeffrey); Barrett Dunn; Wright Dunn; Rebecca Statham; great grandchildren, Anslee; Cade; Tate; Addisyn; Lennox; Waylon; Jordan; Thomas; Hunter; Abrielle; Jasper; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her own.

She will be remembered for her kind spirit, strength, sense of humor, generosity, and faith. Whether through her warm smile, comforting words, or how she brought people together, she left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
