Linda Roberts House, 64, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 after an extended illness. A memorial service and interment of ashes will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 753 College Street in Macon, with The Reverend Hal Weidman officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the church undercroft. Linda was born in Macon, Georgia on January 28, 1947 to the late W. Ed Roberts and Hassie Lee Breedlove Roberts. A graduate of Miller High School, Linda attended Brenau College and graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Following graduation she taught school in the Atlanta area for several years. She is survived by her husband of 31 years Mitchel P. House, Jr., daughter, Laura Mullins Genone and her husband Scott of Marietta, Georgia, son, Stewart Lee Mullins of Macon, Step-son, Mitchel P. House, III and his wife Susan of Decatur and step-daughter, Laura House Roberts of Lilburn, and nine grandchildren: Andrew, Alex, and Caroline Genone, Obe Mullins, Alec, Davis and Loren Marie House and Tyler and Cole Roberts. She is also survived by two brothers, W. Ed Roberts, Jr. and his wife Kathy and William Henry Roberts and his wife, Beth and nieces and nephews, William and Seth Roberts of Charlotte, North Carolina and Elizabeth Roberts of Duluth, Georgia.
