Lillian Louise Richard, 79, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 in Marion, Illinois. Services will be held 2:00PM on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Scott Baker officiating. Visitation will be between 12:00-2:00PM before the service at Hart's at the Cupola. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yaw Family Memorial, in memory of her grandson, 2201 Autumn Lane, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Richard collected family photos for numerous photo albums, memorial albums and to display for friends and family. She was well known for her cooking and recipes during family functions. Mrs. Richard was predeceased by her parents, Ozell Henry Clanton, Sr. and Nattie Lee Dupree Clanton. The family may be contacted at 2202 Autumn Lane, Marion, IL 62959. Survivors include her husband, Clyde B. Richard of Marion, IL; daughters, Hattie L. Yaw (James) of Montverde, FL, and Lynda L. Goolsby (Gene) of Marion, IL; son, Claude T. Orr (Theresa) of Hueytown, AL; sister, Judy L. Jackson (Fred) of North Lauderdale, FL; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
