Macon- Lillian Hyatt Gammage, of 300 Charter Boulevard, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with burial in Riverside Cemetery (North Gate). The family will greet friends on Friday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Gideons International, 524 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or to Heart of Georgia Humane Society, P. O. Box 7554, Macon, Georgia 31209. Mrs. Gammage lived in Perry, Georgia for forty years and was a member of Perry Presbyterian Church. She was a secretary and bookkeeper at Perry High School for thirty-three years. Mrs. Gammage is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Mason A. Gammage of Macon; niece, Jenny Simpson (Billy) of Augusta, Georgia; nephew, Ray Campbell of Byron, Georgia; cousin, Dale McDonald of Macon; great-nephews, Ray Campbell, Jr. and Jonathan Campbell.
