Lewis Clair “Curly” Wright

Lewis Clair “Curly” Wright, 85, of Warner Robins, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hart’s Chapel of the Cupola with Dr. Charles Michael Blizzard officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone at the Cupola, P. O. Box 26489, Macon, GA 31221.

Mr. Wright was a Boom Operator with the United States Air Force, retiring as a Tech Sergeant, after 20 years of service. Following his military career, he worked as an electrician at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of the TAC Tankers Association, Southern Chapter, and a member of the church, Cornerstone at the Cupola. Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Wright.

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Leaptrot Wright of Warner Robins; children, Mary Jane Wright of Warner Robins, Charles Wright of Ft. Valley, Georgia, and Holly Gail Wright of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Sunshine “his bear” Wright, Damon Rogers, and Tyler John Wright, all of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Harley Wright of Warner Robins, Sean Johnson of Warner Robins, Ariyah Lynn Wright of Texas, Jaxon Rogers of Warner Robins, and Eric Fender of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Sue (Steven) Kidd of Bonaire, Georgia and Patricia Polk of Warner Robins.
