Lessie Barnes Perry

Lessie T. Perry: 94, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012.Graveside services will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Bobby Robinson will officiate. The family will have a visitation from 2:00 p.m till 2:45p.m. at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola on Monday, December 3, 2012. Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Gordon Roberts and Christiana Barnes Roberts. She was the widow of James C. "Dick" Perry. She was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church and a published poet. She was the church poet for the Church of the Nazarene in Macon for many years. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Elizabeth Bosworth. She is survived by her children, Eleanor Ann Wilkins and Martin Bosworth,Sr., both of Macon, Georgia; Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
