Leona S. Louthan

Macon- Leona S. Louthan, 85, of Macon, died Friday, July 23, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 26, 2010, at 12:00PM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola on Peake Road with Dr. Bob Setzer officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Christ, 511 High Place, Macon, GA 31201.

Mrs. Louthan was born on September 27, 1924 in Bainbridge, GA. She later lived in Cairo, GA and Waycross, GA, before making her home in Clearwater, FL, for 46 years. Mrs. Louthan made a career working in cigar factories for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Louthan, parents, Johnny and Ellen Saddler and nine siblings.

Survivors: Son, Charles Martin (Sylvia); Brother, David Sadler (Merlene Youngblood); Grandchildren, Joanne Martin (Alrick Brooks), Jason Martin (Hope); Three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
