Lena Vinson Clark

Lena Vinson Clark, 75, of Bolingbroke, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, with Julie King officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home before and following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Humane Society of the United States, 1255 23th Street, NW, Suite 450, Washington, D.C. 20037. Born in Byron, Georgia, Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her husband, Raymond David Clark, whom she met while attending the University of Georgia. Mrs. Clark was an avid tennis player and gardener in her early years and more recently, she enjoyed working in retail at Market Square and Belk. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughters, Christy Clark and Cathy Rainwater (Todd); grandchildren, Tyler Rainwater and Hallie Rainwater; brother, Edgar Bass Vinson, Jr., and numerous cousins.
