Laverne K. Turner

Laverne K. Turner, 75, of Macon, died Thursday, February 19, 2015. The family will greet family and friends on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. A private burial will be held on Monday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Turner was retired after thirty years of service with the Georgia Department of Family and Children's Services. Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughters, Pamela Turner Hughes (Ray) of Sharpsburg, Georgia and Lisa Turner Finlayson (Lawson) of Alpharetta, Georgia; five grandchildren; brother, Wayne Knight (Reba) of Eatonton, Georgia.
