Laverne Harrison Hines

Macon- Laverne Harrison Hines, of Macon, passed away Tuesday December 28, 2010. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 30, 2010, at 11:00AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Williamson Road in Macon. Burial will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 29, 2010 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola on Peake Road. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Special Olympics at www.specialolympics.org.

Mrs. Hines was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base after 30 years of service on the flight line. She was preceded in death by her son, John Paul Jones.

Survivors: Son, Russell Anthony Jones of Cochran, GA; Daughter, Karen Webb of Lizella, GA; Daughter, Elaine Daleske of Iowa; Sister, Evelyn Dover of Macon, GA; Brother, Jimmy Harrison of Cochran, GA; Sister, Norma Jean Colvin of Macon, GA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
