Larue Stewart Albritton

LaRue Stewart Albritton, 85, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on October 27, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Elam Baptist Church, with Pastor Adam Bray officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at the Church cemetery.

Daughter of the late Henry Vernon Stewart and Eunice Vera Howell Stewart, LaRue was born in Dublin, Georgia on November 28, 1938. She worked as a cashier and front-end manager at Big Star for many years.  She loved the Lord and enjoyed attending Elam Baptist Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Dale Stewart (Jean); sister, LaVerne Dooley; grandchildren: Justin Freeman and Trey Freeman; great-grandchild, Scarlett Alexandria Freeman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, LaRue was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard A. Albritton; only son, Michael W. Freeman; brothers: Jerrell Stewart (Marsha), Cary Stewart (Shirley), Larry Stewart (Pat), and Ricky Stewart; and sisters, Myra Barfield (Willie) and Kathy Stewart.
