Larry Johnson, Sr.

Macon-Larry Johnson Sr., 62, died May 4, 2009. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 8, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola with the Reverend Loran D. Smith, Jr. officiating and burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray Mr. Johnson's medical expenses. Mr. Johnson retired from the Warner Robins Police Department and worked with the US Marshal Service. He attended Lizella Methodist Church. He was a Ham and CB radio operator, stamp collector, coin collector, loved to fish, loved birds, and loved his family. He was predeceased by his father, J.W. Johnson and sister, Eunice Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Becky Johnson of Lizella; children, Dale Johnson (Rebecca) of Lizella, Jennifer Ferrell (Doug) of Macon, Lisa Swafford (Terry) of Macon; mother, Ruby Johnson of Juliette; brothers, Steve Johnson (Donna) of Juliette, Randy Johnson of Gray; grandchildren, Aleyiah Johnson of Macon, Caleb Ferrell of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
