Larry James Beck

Larry James Beck passed away on December 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 3:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with Mr. Brad Fowler officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00PM-3:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. The interment will follow the service at Elam Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations may be made to the Rock On Animal Rescue, 853 Eatonton highway, Gray, GA 31032. Larry was a fireman for 36 years for the Jacksonville Fire Department. After retiring, he volunteered for the Jones County Fire Department and served as the Safety Coordinator for the EMA. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce Beck of Jones County; daughter, Janet Lee Beck Poss (Kevin) of Jones County; two sons, Matthew Cory Beck of Jones County and Timothy Kevin Beck of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren, Kory James Poss and Kolby Mathison Poss of Jones County; sister, Nancy Daymude (Ernest) of Jacksonville, Florida. and many nieces and nephews.
