Lannie Merrell Madden

September 7, 1917 — November 1, 2010

Forsyth-Mr. Lannie Merrell Madden, 93, died Monday, November 1, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Mike Fuller officiating. Burial will be at 2:30PM on Friday in Northview Cemetery in Dublin, GA. Visitation will be between 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Cupola. The family may be contacted at 6380 Governor McDonald Drive, the residence of Janet McCallum.

Mr. Madden was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Madden was a pilot for many years. He was the owner of L.M. Madden Construction.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Mamie W. Madden of Forsyth; daughters, Merrelyn M. Dorman (Ronnie) of Sandersville, GA, Janet Mullis McCallum of Macon, and Judith Christian (Jim) of Chillicothe, OH; seven grandchildren, Amy Cranor (Daniel), Melissa Mullis, Wesley Mullis (Lena), Hope Leatherwood (Cliff), Brian Odom (Crystal), Russell Odom, and Savannah Brimer (Dustin); and ten great grandchildren, Sophia Cranor, Lauren Mullis, Anna Brooke Mullis, Megan Mullis, David Merrell Mullis, Bryce Leatherwood, Lance Leatherwood, Jeremy Odom, Kaitlyn Mullins, and Gabriella Odom.
