Macon- Lane Madison Bennett, 48, of 2545 Vineville Avenue, died Monday, December 8, 2008. Services will be held Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Tommy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at the residence. Mr. Bennett was a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Mercer University and was affiliated with Huckabee Cadillac and Saturn for more than ten years. Mr. Bennett is survived by his mother, Rosa Bennett of Macon; sister, Lark Bennett of Miami, Florida; several aunts and uncles and many cousins, including Melody Shearer of Macon and Debbie Salyer of Lexington, Kentucky.
