Lamar Crews, 68, of Macon, passed away October 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hart's at the Cupola. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517. Flowers are also welcome. Mr. Crews was a veteran of the U.S. Army and serving in Vietnam. He is survived by his companion, Ann Brewer of Macon; daughter, Pamela Ortiz of Macon; son, Thomas Crews of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Chasen Thompson of Warner Robins and Josh Thompson (Ashley) of Brunswick; sisters, Pat Hendrix of Hillard, FL, Glenda Morgan (Walter) of Woodbine, GA; and brother, Kevin Crews (Peggy) of Folkston, GA.
