L. L. "Red" Roberts

Macon- L. L. "Red" Roberts, 68, of 4460 Bon Ayer Circle, died Sunday, February 15, 2009. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. The Reverend Mac Goddard will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hayes Cancer Foundation, 2756 Ellenwood Circle North, Macon, GA 31204. Mr. Roberts was a member of First Baptist Church in Cordele, GA. He was a salesman in the car industry for many years. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and was an amateur photographer. A singer and songwriter, Mr. Roberts loved to play the guitar. He was a retired bailiff for the Firing Range at the Bibb County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Roberts is survived by a special friend, Loretta Henceley of Macon; children, Tonya Roberts Stokes of Tallahassee, FL and Traci Roberts of Cumming, GA; mother, Jewell Cook Roberts Brooks of Butler, GA; grandchildren, Lauren Dugger Covington (Dustin) of Forsyth, GA, Kyle Roberts Dugger of Macon, Kailey Elizabeth Pajerski and Sydney Paige Pajerski, both of Cumming, GA; sister, Gail Brooks Taunton (Cecil) of Reynolds, GA; brother, Howard L.
