Kris Daniel

Kristen Tapley Daniel, 54, of Macon, Georgia, passed away after an eighteen-month battle with cancer on March 20, 2025. The family will greet friends from 5PM to 7PM on Sunday, March 23rd at Hart’s at the Cupola.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24th at Ingleside Baptist Church.   The family will also greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kris was born on September 11, 1970, in Macon and spent her entire life as a cherished member of the community. A graduate of Central High School, Kris continued her education at Mercer University, earning a bachelor's degree that paved the way for her successful career. She initially worked at the Medical Center from 1991 until 2001.  Choosing to focus on her family, she embraced the role of stay-at-home mom from 2001 to 2011, a period she often described as one of the most fulfilling of her life. Kris continued her professional career in 2011 at Daniel Dental, where she remained until 2025.

Kris was always putting family first.  She was fiercely protective, loyal and loving.  She loved her home and time spent with her husband. They were inseparable.  She was her children’s #1 fan in whatever they were doing.  She was always in the background quietly supporting others, never wanting the focus on her.

Kris will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Casey Daniel of Macon; daughter, Gibson Daniel; son, Bryce Daniel; parents, Gene and Betty Tapley of Cochran, Georgia; brother, Greg Tapley (Fran) of Forsyth, Georgia; sister, Erin Tapley Burch (Chris) of Hawkinsville, Georgia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
