Kimberly Joyce Tidwell Armstrong

Macon-Kimberly Joyce Tidwell Armstrong went home to be with her Heavenly Father, with family at her bedside, on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Rd, with the Reverend Franklin Etheridge officiating. Burial is private. Visitation will be between 7:00-9:00PM on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Cupola. Family can be contacted at the residence, 664 Hathaway Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kids Yule Love, PO Box 2011, Macon, GA 31203.

Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was involved in a non-profit organization for Macon, Kids Yule Love. Mrs. Armstrong was predeceased by her father, James Otis Tidwell.

Survivors include her loving husband, Darrell H. Armstrong of Macon; mother, Pat Tidwell of Macon; son, Chris Payne; daughter, Tish Carruthers (Chad) of Haddock, GA; stepdaughters, Kim Morgan (John) of Macon and Kelly Cunningham (Les) of Alabama; stepson, Keith Armstrong (Rosalie) of Connecticut; grandchildren, Brittany Matheny, Ashlyn Carruthers, Cody Deep, Macy Morgan, Zack Morgan, Austin Morgan, Emma Cunningham, Jackson Cunningham, Chloe Armstrong, Destiny Payne, and Drew Payne; sister, Kathy Snider of Gray, GA; brother, Ken Tidwell of Macon. Several nieces, nephews and many close friends.
