Kevin Dale Dunagan

Kevin Dale Dunagan, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, with the Reverend Cynthia Knapp officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 582 Walnut St. Macon, GA 31201.

Kevin, a respected former manager of Economy Tires, was known for his tireless work ethic and passion for automobiles. He was particularly skilled in working on cars, and his love for Mustangs was unparalleled. Beyond the garage, his presence was a fixture at the racetracks, cheering on his favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon.

Above all, his devotion to his family was the cornerstone of his life. Kevin had a notably special bond with his mother, a relationship cherished and honored until his last day. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Pamela Dunagan of Phenix City, Alabama; mother, Lillie Hardy (Buster) of Jones County, Georgia; father, Danny Dunagan of Greensboro, Kentucky; twin sister, Karen Dunagan Holliday  (Peter) of Macon, Georgia, brother, David Dunagan of Jones County, sister, Bobbie Nettles of Macon, sister, Robin Dunn (Michael) of Macon; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
