Kenneth Dee Redick, 86, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025. Born on September 28, 1938, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to the late Desaix and Helen Redick. Kenny lived a life marked by deep devotion to family, an enduring love of learning, and a remarkable sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him.
Kenny is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Wanda Jean Redick; his children, David Redick (Kimberly), Jon Mark Redick (Tara), Joseph “Jody” Redick, and Julie Redick; his brother, Robert Redick; and five cherished grandchildren, Lillian Redick, Austin Redick, Caroline Redick, Joshua Redick, and Spencer Redick. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marnena Nall; his brother, Gary Wayne Redick; and grandchild, Lainey Redick, whose memory remained close to his heart.
Kenneth was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother—his family was the center of his world. A hardworking man with a sharp mind and a kind spirit, he exemplified the values of perseverance, curiosity, and compassion throughout his life.
A lifelong learner, Kenneth approached life with thoughtful inquiry and quiet wisdom. His great sense of humor, gentle demeanor, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
The family will greet friends, Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Hart’s at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
