Kenneth Wayne Davis Sr.

Kenneth Wayne Davis, Sr. passed away on January 15, 2017. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Byron City Cemetery with the Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, Macon, GA. Mr. Davis was predeceased by his wife Barbara Aultman Davis, and three sons, Tommy Swearingen, Keith Swearingen, and Jimmy Swearingen. He was the co-owner of Rhino Linings of Milledgeville. He also owned several gas stations in Macon including Ingleside FINA and Napier Shell. He was one of thirteen children of Robert Davis and Mary Elizabeth Dukes Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Bradley Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was one of the hardest working men who never missed a day of work. Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Connie Simmons (David), Maxine Davis Adams (Jay), Kenneth Davis, Jr. (Trish), Gregory Davis (Yvonne), Phyllis Davis Crosby (Neal), Bobby Swearingen and Troy Swearingen; grandchildren, Justin Swearingen (Courtney), April Spires (M.C.), John David Simmons (Stefani), Heather Simmons, Samantha NeSmith (Lee), Alexis Fowler (Jeffrey), Jeannette Swearingen, Keith Swearingen, Katherine Hunt(Josh), Marie Davis, Nicholas Davis and Tabatha Davis; the loves of his life his great grandchildren, Savannah Simmons, Summer and Hunter Hill, Mason and Madison Spires, Avery and Levi Swearingen, Laighla Pittman, Hunter and Thomas NeSmith, Abrielle Fowler, and Ansleigh Hunt; and sister, Kathleen Bailey.
