Katie Lee Scarborough

Macon- Katie Lee Scarborough, 72, of 4196 Riggins Mill Road, died Sunday, May 20, 2012. Services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Franklin Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family may be contacted at 127 Augusta Avenue and will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Scarborough was predeceased by her father, Cecil Virgil Rainey and her sister, Bonnie Jean Proctor. Mrs. Scarborough is survived by her companion of twenty years, Frank Edwards of Macon; children, Andrea Scarborough of Jones County and Troy Newton Scarborough, Jr. of Twiggs County; mother, Dorothy I. Moore Davis of Macon; grandchildren, Jonathan L. Seabolt of Bibb County, Brandon T. Seabolt, William D. Waller and Christopher C. Scarborough, all of Jones County, and Jacob Troy Scarborough of Gordon, Georgia; two great-grandchildren; several step-children, including James Edwards; several step-grandchildren, including Brittany Edwards; brother and sisters, Virgil Rainey, Donna Rainey and Jean Rainey, all of Twin City, Georgia; niece, Marie Burke Clanton of Fort Valley, and her children, David A.
