Kathleen Martha Burt

Kathleen Martha Burt, born to the late John Thomas and Charlotte McLaughlin in Seward, Nebraska, August 7, 1944, died Monday, April 29, 2019.  Family will receive friends at Hart’s at the Cupola, Friday, May 10, 2019 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Morningside Assisted Living of Macon, 6191 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31220.

Mrs. Burt married William Delos July 24, 1965.  They were active members of the Cleveland Deaf community.  She lived for nearly 40 years in Rocky River, Ohio. She attended Northern Illinois University and later became a dedicated employee of the United States Defense Finance and Accounting Service, serving more than 30 years.  Most recently, she was a beloved resident of Morningside of Macon.  Mrs. Burt is preceded in death by her husband, William Delos Burt, and brother, John McLaughlin.

Mrs. Burt was survived by her brother, Thomas (Marilyn) Mclaughlin.  She was the loving mother to Barbara (Scoop) Skupien, Donna (Sam) Rumph and Brenda (Rick) Kirk. She was Grandma to Jake, Marin, Julia, Samuel, Thomas and Winston. Always offering a giant smile and gentle hug, with a reminder to “be good” to all she met. Love you BILLIONS.
