Katherine Mercer Britt

Katherine Mercer Britt, 92, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Mark Hudgins will officiate.

Mrs. Britt, daughter of the late Johny Mercer and Cora Lee Edenfield Mercer, was born in Candler County, Georgia. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Mrs. Britt was a member of West Highland Baptist Church.

She was devoted to her family who survivor her, her daughters, Delores C. Worley of Juliette, Georgia, Donna (Bruce) Bergey of Gainesville, Georgia, and Kathy (George) Laven of Dunlap, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Natalie Cole, Deanna (Sam) Grice, and Mark Scarborough; three great grandchildren, Samuel, Andrew and Hannah Grice; one brother, Charles (Geneva) Mercer; one niece, Janice (Mike) Bloodworth; and one nephew, Gary (Susan) Mercer.
