Karen Stirk Lentz

Karen Stirk Lentz, 59, of Jones County, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Real Life Church, 2491 Gray Highway, Macon, Georgia 31211.  Reverend Bo Turner will officiate the service.  The family will greet friends for visitation one hour before the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in honor of Karen S. Lentz to Sonrise Ministries, 3378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032.

Karen was born on January 17, 1966, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Frederick Elton Stirk, Jr. and Pauline Stirk.  She graduated from Jones County High School in1984.  Karen worked in the human resources department for the Youth Development Center.  She loved her family, and she will be missed greatly.

Karen is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, David E. Lentz; her three sons, Christopher Lentz (Annemarie) of Jones County, Charles Lentz of Atlanta, and Stanley Lentz (Brittney) of Jones County; her four grandchildren, Maryanne Murdock, Hailey Lentz, AnnaBelle Lentz, and Aidan Lentz; her brother, Jim Stirk of Savannah; her sister, Debra Dianne Moates of Milledgeville; and her father-in-law, Elmer Lentz of Dawsonville.  She is preceded in death by her parents.
