Kara Beth Hinson Dodd

Kara Beth Hinson Dodd of Roberta, age 48, passed away January 29, 2014 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia after a brief illness. Kara was a devoted and self-sacrificing wife, mother, daughter, and friend who enriched every life she touched. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James W. and Elizabeth Hinson, and A.J. and Katherine Ivey; and her brother, Phillip Hinson. Kara is survived by her husband, Gary; her children, Katherine and Jacob, her parents, James (Sid) Hinson, Sr. (Carolyn) and Martha Ivey Baldwin (Ray); her siblings, Wayne Hinson, Sid Hinson, Jr., and Rhonda Darden; her uncle, Ronald Ivey; her aunts, Virginia Reaves and Louise Harvard; and her cousins, Dempsey Brown, Leiza Hartman, Kevin Reaves, Jay Reaves, and Billy Reaves. Kara was employed at Wayne Reaves Software and the Fish n' Pig. A service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Alan Fennell officiating. A reception will follow.
