June Jackson

Laurel June Jackson, 85, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 1:30 PM, at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church with the Reverends Jack Varnell, Sam Lamback, and Payton Stone officiating. A visitation will be held following the service. June will be laid to rest privately at the Forsyth City Cemetery. June was born on September 7, 1940, in Forsyth, Georgia, to the late Horace Greely Jackson and Lula Vashti Mulling Jackson. She was employed at the Middle Georgia Regional Library where she was the Library Clerk for forty years. Most of those years were spent working at the library for the blind. June was a faithful member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and The Catherine Daughtery Sunday School Class. She was on the Board of Directors for the United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia. She was lovingly accepted and “adopted” into the Lamback family and made a great impact in the community of Macon, Georgia.

June and her family were very appreciative of the care and compassion she received at Pruitt Lakeside on Jeffersonville Road.
