Judy Ann Ray Reitz

Judy Ann Ray Reitz, passed away, Sunday, August 4, 2019. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. A private memorial service will be held at a future date.

Judy was born in the Philippines on April 29, 1956 and was adopted and loved by Samuel T. Ray, Sr., and Lou Ray Wright. She retired at 62, as an insurance claims adjuster for Southern Trust of Macon.

Judy was an independent woman and enjoyed cooking as she learned from the best of the best. She liked watching movies, tending to plants and was an avid reader. She loved her husband, Malcolm and took care of him lovingly. She was affectionately attached to their cats and dogs.

Judy is survived by her of 35 years, Malcolm Reitz; two daughters, Sommer Ray Morgan and Scarlett Cranford both of Gray; grandchildren, Emilee Ray Lanford, Brandon (Makayla) Spivey, and Dalton Spivey; brothers, Johnny Ray and Samuel T. Ray, Jr.
