Judy Meeks Dominy

Judith “Judy” Meeks Dominy, 74, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024, at Hart’s the Cupola.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, also at Hart’s at the Cupola. Burial will follow the service at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.

Judy had a passion for turning simple things into treasures, she loved crafting memories and countless Cabbage Patch Kids that brought smiles to many. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and a cherished family photographer.  She captured countless moments that will continue to tell the story of her family’s legacy. She enjoyed going to the beach and collecting seashells, especially Panama City Beach. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Dominy, of Macon; son, Ken Dominy (Julie), of Macon; daughter, Amanda Taylor (Patrick), of Mount Airy, North Carolina; grandchildren: Kanaan Dominy, Trent Dominy, Travis Dominy, Jessica Taylor, and Mary Beth Taylor (Will Felts); great grandchild, Robin Cheeley; sister, Jackie Lenderman (Raymond), of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stacey Delman Meeks and Mary Lee Minton, and brothers, Wayne Meeks and Thad Meeks.
