Mrs. Judy Bradley, 78, of Macon, went home to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, April 17, 2020. A private burial service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Saturday, April 25,2020 at 2:00 p.m. A public memorial service for all friends and family to celebrate her life will be hosted by Hart's Mortuary when social restrictions are lifted.
Judy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Emory Pritchett and Emily Hatcher December 19, 1941. Judy married Joseph Douglas Bradley, III, of Macon July 1, 1960, in Macon.
Judy loved God and was confident of her place in God's family because of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. She served her church in every community in which she lived, including Windsor Forest Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia, Lakeview Baptist Church in Macon, and most recently, at Bellevue Baptist Church in Macon. Judy enjoyed cooking, crafting, tending to her plants, spending time with family and going to the beach with her friends. She was retired from the Secretary of State's office in Macon. She was preceded in death by Joseph Bradley (Spouse), Emory Pritchett (Father), Emily Woodard (Mother), and Clayton Edward 'Woody' Woodard (Step-Father). Judy is survived by her two children, Darrel Bradley (Faith) of Macon, Georgia and April Bradley Smith (Tre) of Lynchburg, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Jessica Cobb Wynn (Lee) of Sea Island, Georgia, Brandy Lyn Marble (Brandon) of Augusta, Georgia, Amanda Faith Knighton (Colby) of Macon, Georgia, Robert Bradley Smith of Lynchburg, Virginia, Whitney Dianne Smith of Lynchburg, Virginia, Timothy Edwards Smith of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Jacob Douglas Smith of Lynchburg, Virginia; and seven great-grandchildren.
