Judith Gibbs Walker

Judith Walker (Judy) died at home on Jan 15, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan 23 at 2 pm at Forest Hills United Methodist Church with the Rev Baxter Hurley officiating. The family will greet friends after the service. Judy was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late George and Annie Infinger Gibbs. She graduated from Lee High School in Jacksonville and Andrew College in Cuthbert GA with a degree in music. She also earned an Associate Degree in accounting from Macon College. Judy worked for Forest Resource Consultants for the last 22 years. The Marshall Sunday School Class at Forest Hills United Methodist has been an important part of her life for the past 30 plus years. Judy shared her beautiful voice in church services all of her life. She will be missed by her children Ellen Hartman (Leonard) of Cuba, AL and David Walker of Macon, GA, her granddaughter Sarah Hartman, her sisters Margaret Woods (Ronald) of Jacksonville, FL, Celia Rogers of Savannah, GA, and Beth Tripp (John) of Macon, GA, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
