Judith "Judy" Faye McMillon

Judith “Judy” Faye McMillon, 68, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on May 10, 2026. A memorial service will be held at High Street Church on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal rescue group of your choice, Hospice Care Options, or to High Street Church, 1085 High Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.

Judy was born on June 5, 1957, to Bernard and Betty McMillon. From a young age, Judy had a kind and compassionate heart. She was a natural born caregiver. Judy started a long-lasting career in healthcare by being one of the “candy-stripe” volunteers at the hospital. She decided to go to school to work on her LPN; and then, she continued her schooling and advanced to an RN. Years of helping people evolved into working with hospice patients. Judy loved not only helping people in their last days, but she also loved being there for the patient’s family.

Judy had the biggest heart. She lit up any room she walked into. She was funny and loved making people laugh, making her the life of the party. Judy positively impacted so many lives. Among her favorite things to do was to be around her family, friends, and furbabies; and also, dining out with friends, sharing delicious meals, while laughing and sharing stories.

Judy is survived by her wife, Barbara Yancey, whom she adored; her sister, Anne Garner; her brother, John McMillon III; several nieces and nephews; some very special friends; and her furbabies throughout the years.
