Juanita Darity Watson died Sunday, October 23, 2011. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Riverside Cemetery. The Reverends Wilma Andrews and Reggie Andrews will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 7 PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or Indian Springs Holiness Campground Association, c/o the Indian Springs Treasurer, P. O. Box 1742, Mableton, Georgia 30126.

Mrs. Watson was born in Macon on November 12, 1922 to Willie Thomas Darity, Sr. and Elizabeth Lenora Andrews Darity. She was a charter member of Macon Evangelistic Church and was co-owner of Watson House Moving and Wrecking Company from 1946-1986. The family would like to express their heartfelt love and gratitude to Dr. Thomas Price and Dr. John C. Hawkins for their years of care and concern for Mrs. Watson.

Mrs. Watson was the widow of Willis Jackson Watson, her husband of 46 years and father of her two children and of her second husband of 9 years, John E. West. She was predeceased by her son, Reverend Tex J. Watson, and her brother, Willie T. Darity, Jr.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her daughter Ann Watson Smith of Macon; seven grandchildren, Sylvia Boykin of Macon, Dudley Smith of Delaware, Ohio, Christy Watson Claudy of Indian Land, South Carolina, Autumn Watson Helfert of Scottsdale, Arizona, Holly Watson Leskovics of Macon, Ty Watson of Atlanta, and Troy Watson of LaGrange, Georgia; eight great-grandchildren, Madison Claudy, Luke Claudy and Julia Claudy, all of Indian Land, South Carolina, Lily Helfert, Charlie Helfert and Andrew Helfert, all of Scottsdale, Arizona, Athena Leskovics and Elijah Leskovics of Macon; sister, Bannie Edwards of Macon; and a daughter-in-law Wanda Watson of Macon.
