Juanita Gould Rybicki

Juanita Gould Rybicki, 75, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022.  A Rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Hart’s at the Cupola with visitation to follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel.  A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Wright officiating.  Inurnment will be held Monday, March 7, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Charleston, South Carolina.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Daughter of the late Albert Lee and Annie Agnes Soria Gould, Mrs. Rybicki was a troop leader for the Girl Scouts and a para-pro at St. Joseph’s Catholic School.  She also volunteered for many years at St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph’s Catholic School where she was president of the Home and School Association.  She was retired from Mercer University after 18 years of service.  She, beyond anything else, loved and adored her grandchildren.  Mrs. Rybicki was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Edward Rybicki; and siblings, Albert Lee Gould, Delbert Eugene Gould, Elizabeth Ann Gould McCrary, John Rathe Gould, and Francis Alan Gould.

Mrs. Rybicki is survived by her children, Jennifer Rybicki Hernandez (Al) of Macon, John Albert Rybicki of Warner Robins, and Rachel Rybicki Chambers of Lizella; grandchildren, Madison Fairchild, Emily Chambers, and Andrew Chambers; sisters, Janette Harper (Mike) of Winder, Georgia; brother, Dickie Gould (JoAnn) of North Charleston, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
