Joyce Ann Mccrimmon Chauncey

Joyce Ann McCrimmon Chauncey, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 10, 2018. The family will greet friends at 3:00PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA. 31032. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00PM. Mr. Neil Jackson and Mr. Aaron Burgess will officiate. Following the service, the family will greet friends at the residence of Mr. Kenny McCrimmon, Sr., 3325 U.S. Hwy 80, Dry Branch, GA. 31020. Joy loved her family and had a way of making everyone laugh. If you visited Joy in her home, you were sure to laugh, and she would not let you leave hungry. Her daughter Katie was the light of her life. She was a member of Shurlington Baptist Church and a graduate of Jones County High School. Joy was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Geneva McCrimmon. Joy is survived by her daughter, Katie Chauncey (James Gandy); unborn grandson, Gunner Gandy; brother, Kenny McCrimmon, Sr. (Debbie); sister, Janet Hester (Samuel); nephew, Kenny McCrimmon, Jr. (Kristi); niece, Heather Burgess (Aaron); nephew, Brock Hester (Sarah); nephew, Joshua Hester (Dianna); nephew, Aaron Hester; and several great nieces and nephews.
