Joyce Bush Lord

Joyce Bush Lord, 86, died Friday, July 20, 2012, with her sister, Jean Bush Fulghum, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend David Carnish officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Donations may be made to Humane Services, 1354 Nottingham Drive, Macon, GA 31211. Mrs. Lord, a 1943 graduate of Tennille High School, was an active member of Macon First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was an avid world traveler. Mrs. Lord was the widow of Bunyan Howard Lord. Mrs. Lord is survived by her daughter, Peggy Lord Lawless of Macon; son, Jerry Bunyan Lord of Macon; grandson, Shawn Hairston (Laura) of Hawkinsville, Georgia; beloved great granddaughter, Aubrie Hairston; brother, William Bush (Dodie) of Boasier City, Louisiana; sister, Betty Jo Carnish (Marvin) of Milledgeville.
