Joyce C. Adams

Joyce C. Adams passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Mrs. Adams was born in Macon and she was a member of Swift Creek United Methodist Church. She devoted her life to her granddaughters, Alexis and Grace. Mrs. Adams graduated from Crandall Business College and was employed by Georgia Forestry and Georgia Kaolin. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Cranford and Evelyn Rogers Cranford; brothers, infant Larry Cranford and Jackie Cranford. She is survived by her husband, George P. Adams, Jr.; son, George P. Adams, III "Tre"; two beloved granddaughters, Alexis and Grace Adams; brothers, Heyward Cranford and Wayne Cranford; sister, Wynelle Spivey; sisters-in-law, Connie Moody (Richard) and Camille Van Orden (Bud); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
