Joy W. Barlow

Joy Barlow, 57, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Hart’s at the Cupola, with Kevin Lyles officiating.  The family will greet friends and have refreshments one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry, Georgia.

Joy was born in Warner Robins, Georgia on May 26, 1964.  She was a long-time waitress at The Bear’s Den.  She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard, and doing arts and crafts. She was a very talented artist and loved to sketch.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and pets.

Joy was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Troy Barlow; parents, Herbert and Joyce Warren; and brother, Steve Warren.

Joy is survived by her daughters, Susan A. Joiner (David), of Kathleen, Georgia, and Kaitlyn McLeod (Jayme), of Fort Valley, Georgia; grandchildren, Breona Sawyers, of Kathleen, Georgia and Emalyn McLeod, of Fort Valley, Georgia; and brother, Barry Warren, of Warner Robins, Georgia.
