Joshua Owen Negri

Joshua Owen Negri, known affectionately as JoJo and Josh by his loved ones, passed away on April 25, 2024, in Macon, Georgia, at the age of 34. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Gods Church of Worship and Praise, 4634 Raley Road, Macon, Georgia 31206.

Born on August 12, 1989, in Dover, New Jersey, to Anthony “Tony” and Maureen Negri, Josh brought endless joy and energy into the world.  He was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed cheering for his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Georgia Bulldogs. His love for video games provided countless hours of entertainment and connection with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his loving wife, Jessi Negri, with whom he shared a joyful four years of companionship and a beautiful year of marriage; two children, Hayden and Makinzi; two brothers; Michael Negri and Tony Negri; Melissa; aunts and uncles, Mary and Robert, Diana and Harry, Eileen and Ken, Mary Jean, Cathie, and Jack; in-laws, Lisa & Jesse Tipton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
