Macon- Mr. Joseph Edgar Berry, 82, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Stone Creek Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow services at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Mark Grinsted and Dr. Donnie Sutton will officiate. The family will greet friends on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Mr. Berry was born in Dawson, GA to the late James Edgar Berry and Clara Elizabeth Frost. He was an active member of Stone Creek Baptist Church and the local Mason's. Mr. Berry was predeceased by his loving wife, Ruby Claire Berry and three brothers. He was also a veteran of The United States Navy. Mr. Berry is survived by his son, Patrick Joseph Berry (Cheryl); daughter, Darlalu Berry Craanen; grandchildren, Shawn Patrick Berry, William Benjamin Berry (Jennifer), Billy Joseph Berry (Stephanie), Robert Francis Craanen III, Michael Henri Craanen (Ashley) and Teri Deann Craanen; great grandchildren, Brandon Berry, Camden Berry, Kye Berry, Connor Berry, Katie Berry, Callahan Berry, Michael Craanen, Shaylyn Wilmoth; one sister Sarah Wilder and numerous nieces and nephews.
