Joseph William Andrews

Macon-Joseph William "Andy" Andrews, III died Thursday, February 12, 2009. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, February 16, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road with the Reverend Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be one half-hour prior to the service. The family may be contacted at 5228 Forsyth Road #216, the residence of Virginia Andrews. Mr. Andrews was a member of New Heights Baptist Church, formerly Cherokee Heights Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Stratford Academy and Georgia Southwestern. He enjoyed volunteering for Heart of Georgia Humane Society. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph William Andrews, Jr.

Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife of 30 years, Edna Andrews of Macon; mother, Virginia Garland Andrews of Macon; sister, Laura Andrews Chappell of Bloomington, IN; niece, Virginia Chappell of Baltimore, MD; and nephew, Ben Chappell of Bloomington, IN.
