Jon M. Gillespie

Macon- Jon M. Gillespie, died on Sunday, September 12, 2010. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola with Dr. Rob Kestler officiating. Burial will be at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family may be contacted at 3212 Wood Oak Court. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208 or to Liberty United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund, 6511 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216.

Mr. Gillespie was a graduate of Mercer University and was employed at the Macon Airport as a screener for Transportation Security Administration. He was an avid Florida Gator fan.

Mr. Gillespie is survived by his parents, Milton and Louise Gillespie and his sister, Nancy Dixon, all of Macon; niece and nephews, Cory Dixon, Nicole Dixon and Nicholas Pettis, all of Macon.
