Macon-Johnny Mack Oxley died Thursday March 5, 2009. Graveside services will be held 3:00PM on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Paul Creech officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00PM on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Mr. Oxley was born in Macon to the late Lee E. Oxley, Jr. and the late Lawune Oxley. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Marie Williams. Mr. Oxley is survived by his wife of 62 years, Arlene Hall Oxley; daughter, Deborah (Stephen) Hammock of Macon; son-in-law, Paul Williams of LA; three grandchildren, Chipper (Barbara) Arnold of OK, Todd (Samantha) Gilbert of Byron, and Ryan Thompson of Warner Robins; sister, Frances Cox of Macon; brother, Lee Edward Oxley, III of Macon; six great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
