Johnny Lee Million

November 20, 1949 — May 23, 2026

Gray

Johnny Lee Million was born on November 20, 1949, and peacefully departed this life on May 23, 2026. Today, we gather not only to mourn his passing, but to celebrate a life that was truly vivid, hardworking, unforgettable, and full of laughter. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel.

Johnny was the son of Henry and Pearl Million, and he grew up surrounded by a large family who helped shape the strong and determined man he became. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles Million, George Million, Tom Million, Bill Million, and Connie Million, as well as his sisters Helen Strong and Bobby Lou Harper. He leaves behind his sisters Judy Denny and Kathy Doster, who carry with them a lifetime of memories shared with their brother.

Johnny’s greatest pride was his family. Before marrying the love of his life, Tanja Renee Million, Johnny was blessed with four children: Diane Million, Travis Million, Ashley Million, and Nichole Shoaf Stacks. When Johnny married Renee, he didn’t just gain a wife—he gained an extended family that he embraced wholeheartedly. He formed an unbelievable bond with Marguerite Alicia Johnson, Robert Eugene Henry, and Ray Mack Henry, loving and supporting them as his own. That love naturally extended to their children, Raylee Henry, Bradyn Jenkins, Blake Henry, and Maggie Jenkins, who brought tremendous joy into his life. Johnny loved his family deeply, and the relationships he built were rooted in loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love. His family was his foundation, and his presence in their lives will never be forgotten.

Anyone who knew Johnny knew he was a master carpenter with a gift few could match. Framing houses wasn’t just a job to him—it was an art. With his hands, he built more than homes; he built stability, memories, and places where families would grow and thrive for generations. His craftsmanship spoke for itself, and so did his work ethic. Johnny believed in doing things the right way, and he left pieces of himself in every structure he built.

But if you really knew Johnny, you also knew he loved life. He loved playing cards, pool, and snooker, and there were very few people who could ever beat him at the table. He carried himself with confidence, skill, and just enough competitiveness to keep things interesting. Whether it was a game of pool or a hand of cards, Johnny was always in his element.

One of Johnny’s most unforgettable qualities was his humor. It was truly one of a kind. Johnny was blunt, honest, and always to the point—you never had to wonder where he stood on something because he would gladly tell you exactly what he thought. But somehow, no matter the situation, he always managed to put a humorous twist on things. Even when he was being straightforward, he had a way of making people laugh. His jokes, quick remarks, and witty one-liners could lighten a room instantly. That unique sense of humor became part of who he was and one of the many reasons people loved being around him.

Johnny lived life on his own terms. He was strong, talented, hardworking, independent, and full of personality. He leaves behind stories that will be told for years, lessons that will continue through his family, and memories that no amount of time can erase.

Though our hearts are heavy today, we can find comfort in knowing that Johnny’s life mattered deeply to the people around him. His hands built homes, his spirit built memories, and his laughter filled rooms in ways that will never be forgotten.

Johnny Million may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts.

May he rest in peace.
