Johnny Moss, Jr. Sunrise 10/02/1946 Sunset 03/24/2016 Johnny Moss, Jr., passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. The family will greet friends on Monday, March 28, 2016, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM, at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, GA. Johnny was born in Bibb County to his parents J.B. and Della Moss (Deceased). He was educated in public schools of Bibb County and received a high school diploma from Ballard Hudson High School, class of 1965. He retired from the U.S. Post Office with over 30 years' of service. He was a loving devoted husband to his wife, children and grandchildren. Over the years, he worked different jobs. He was known for his work as a Drywall Contractor for many years. He had a great passion for working in his yard and garden keeping it beautiful as always. He also enjoyed visiting with others and playing golf when he could. Leaving behind a loving wife of 49 years, Mrs. Josephine Moss; children, Johnny A. Moss (Sharon), Tanise M. Moss and Thornton L. Moss (Sonya); six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Moss (Mary, deceased), Michael Moss (Annie); Peggie and Anna Moss, Cheryl Moss (deceased); host of relatives and friends.
