Johnnie Mae Taylor

Johnnie Mae Taylor, 81, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00AM at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street Chapel, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, GA with Reverend John Irwin and Reverend Jimmy Allen officiating. Interment will be held at the Kite City Cemetery at 3:00PM. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Hart’s Mortuary at 10:00AM. After the graveside the family will receive friends at Coopers Store, Highway 221 South.

Ms. Taylor is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Taylor and her parents, J.C. and Edna Cooper.

Ms. Taylor retired from Piggly Wiggly after 30 plus years. Most recently she worked for Fincher’s BBQ. She loved to fish.

Ms. Taylor is survived by her sister, Jean Flanders; three brothers: James Lewis Cooper, Jerry A. Cooper, and Jacky Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.
