Byron, GA- Johnnie T. Adams, 58, of 511 Atkinson Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Services will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with Glen Hall officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family may be contacted at the residence of Denise and Lance Weldon, 520 Atkinson Road, Byron, GA and will greet friends at Hart's Mortuary on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM and on Friday from noon until 1:00PM. Mr. Adams was a workaholic who loved to fish and to ride his motorcycle. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Maybelle Adams of Byron; children, Marcie Enlow, Denise and Lance Weldon, Matt and April Adams, and Jeremy and Stephanie Adams, all of Crawford County, Barry "Pee Wee" and Melanie Taylor of Hawkinsville, GA, Chris Adams and Abbie and Michael Klingler, all of Jacksonville, NC, and John and Terri Enlow of Glyndon, MN; brother, Butch Adams of Las Cruces, NM; sister, Gloria and Al Spencer of Americus, GA; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
